As part of their GCSE Art coursework project the Year 11’s have been creating bird sculptures. Initial ideas were produced and students then went on to produce beautiful sculptural pieces using wire, wood, and paper. Outcomes have been extremely successful and the Art department have been particularly impressed by the commitment of Melissa, who took her flamingo home over the Summer break and completed her, or him!
Miss Banks has photographed the sculpture in the studio, and the results are stunning.
Congratulations to Melissa, and all the other Year 11’s who are working hard to also complete their bird!
