The general aim of the ICT department is to stimulate and encourage all students to sustain an interest and participate in all areas of ICT. We firmly believe that ICT plays a vital role in most students lives after they leave our school. We try and help each and every student that chooses to study ICT with there individual needs. As each student has different paths to walk after they leave our school and we hope everything that they will learn with us will help them on this path. Some of our other aims are:

To encourage a discerning attitude towards quality and presentation of work.
To encourage all students to acquire and expand the ICT terminology and vocabulary.
To foster an interest in the traditions and culture of our multi-cultural society.
To achieve a sense of pride in their own achievements
To provide opportunities for students to gain nationally accepted qualifications within the subject.
