Heath Park Celebrates the Best GCSE Results in the School's History
  
‘Every Pupil Always in Focus’
  
Heath Park’s Headteacher, Georgetta Holloway, said ‘Everyone is delighted by what are the best results in the school’s history, with 74% of Year 11 students gaining 5 or more A*-C grades including English and Maths This is down to the hard work of all concerned and reflects the ‘can do’ ethos that we have developed at Heath Park. However one must remember, that behind the statistics are young peoples futures and having gained a full Level 2 qualification, 142 of our students can move to the next level of their education with all options open to them. This is worth celebrating.'
 
In addition the school’s A level results last week also reflected a marked improvement and were also the best in the school’s history with the Average Point Score per Entry moving from a D equivalent two years ago to a grade B equivalent this year.
 
These results, coupled with the recently received BSF news, which will see a complete rebuild of the school on it’s present site opening in 2013, has unsurprisingly given our community a real boost.
