End of Term Information

We are rapidly approaching the end of another exciting and very busy academic year. This year, like most others, continues to be both challenging and extremely rewarding – Heath Park is a vibrant centre of activity, with our relentless pursuit on continuous improvement culminating in the external examination season.  I am incredibly proud to say students remained focused and worked extremely hard.

On behalf of the governing body, I would like to thank students, staff and parents for your continued support and we wish our students every success when results are available in August.

Tempest will be in school on the above date to take the annual photographs for the new Year 7 and 9. Parents/Carers will receive information shortly afterwards detailing order arrangements.

E- Newsletter Heath Park continues to be a hive of activity, with lots happening across the curriculum, sporting success and a wide range of extra-curricular opportunities.  We share ‘Heath Park News’ on our website and through our E-Newsletter.  Thank you to all those parents who have already registered to receive the newsletter, if you wish to register the link can be found on the school website.  The latest edition will be published this week, containing important information for parents, safeguarding updates and a celebration of student activities, including fantastic photos of the Year 11 Prom.
Go4Schools Go4Schools has proved an enormously valuable resource for parents in supporting their child to succeed in school. You can find information on your child’s attendance, rewards and progress here and if you have not shared this in the past, please send details to your child’s tutor (in the planner is ideal), or alternatively please follow the link found on the school website
Attendance and Punctuality Attendance is generally very good and continues to improve with an increased number of students attaining over 96% and an impressive number having 100% attendance.  Good attendance will impact positively on your child’s academic performance. Punctuality to school and lessons is also key and important.  All students should be on site at 8.45am for the morning session and afternoon registers are taken at 1.45pm

As you are aware there is very little space available for visitor parking.  In the interest of the safety of students I would ask that if you do bring or collect your child from school, you ensure that the roads immediately adjacent to the school are not blocked, and that access is maintained for residents. The designated pick up point is at the rear of the school in Coronation Road.
ParentPay Just a reminder to all parents and carers that we now operate a cashless system at Heath Park so any monies for school meals, uniform and school trips must be processed through ParentPay. If you have any queries please do not hesitate to contact the school office.
SZapp To help us keep you up to date with the school community, we would like to encourage all parents to download our school app. This is free and available on all operating systems. Through the app you will be able to get all important information and updates straight to your phone and all information about trips and visits will be pushed to parents through this app.

Setting up couldn’t be easier and Heath Park’s profile is live and easy to find. All you need is to check the options in ‘manage’ which apply to you and your child. Please remember to allow push notifications so that alerts come through to you.
