Heath Park Gold Award
We are pleased to announce that Heath Park achieved a ‘Gold’ award for its student turnout at the Youth Parliament Make Your Mark referendum. There were 928 student votes cast at Heath Park for the national campaign, resulting in a 79% overall turnout.
The turnout reflects the engagement of young people in learning about making decisions at a political level. Students who voted were keen to have their voices heard by the government to represent things that matter to them in their community.
The issue voted for nationally by young people in the referendum was ‘Health and Wellbeing’.
