Heath Park – NCS Champions
Heath Park have recently been recognised for our outstanding contribution to the National Citizen Service (NCS).
NCS is a fantastic opportunity and it is incredibly pleasing to see so many of our students sign up for this opportunity. Open to all young people aged 16-17 across England and Northern Ireland, the two to four week programme takes place in school holidays and includes outdoor team-building exercises, a residential for participants to learn ‘life skills’, a community-based social action project and an end of programme celebration event.
The Gold award which Heath Park received is for working with the NCS to engage and help promote the programme as well as recruiting students to take part.
