Heath Park Sports Day 2019
On Friday 12th July, Year 7-10 students will take part in the annual Sports Day at Aldersley Stadium.
KS3 will need to arrive and register at 8:45am as normal and KS4 students should report to form for 9:45am. We will endeavour to leave Aldersley Stadium at 1:30pm for KS3 and 2.15pm for KS4. Students will be dismissed on return to school.
Due to the ever changing weather forecast, please can all students ensure they are adequately prepared for Friday’s Sports day at Aldersley Leisure Village. This includes any protection required for the sun (including sun cream), sufficient amount of water (no energy drinks/fizzy pop) and/or waterproof jackets in case of rain.
During the day, students will be required to sit in the sheltered stadium area in their form groups; this will avoid any undue exposure in the sun.
On the day, ALL students are required to wear Heath Park PE kit and suitable trainers. Under no circumstances should students be wearing anything other than this kit. No jewellery is to be worn on the day for health and safety reasons. Anyone that cannot apply to these rules will not be allowed to take part on the day.
Students will need to bring a packed lunch (this will be provided for students who are entitled to free school meals). Any students who have asthma will need to bring their inhalers.
