Nadeem Mohammed Awarded For NHS National Competition Entry
Nadeem Mohammed received a certificate for a highly commended entry in the Step into the NHS national competition.
This is a national competition designed for Year 8 and 9 students to encourage them to consider career opportunities in the NHS, develop their job seeking skills and make informed decisions about their GCSE choices.
Business Society members spent time after-school exploring job roles to create a job description and job advert for a role in the NHS that would appeal to other young people their age. With the NHS being the third biggest employer in Europe and having over 300 job roles on offer, they found lots of information.
Competition judges selected a national winner and also a selected number of highly commended entries from over 3500 students across the country. Nadeem’s entry included a creative mind map which illustrated the career route for an Adult Nurse.
Well done Nadeem!
