Online Guest in HSC
Dalbir Kang joined Year 13 Health & Social Care class online, sharing his inspirational story of surviving three brain surgeries and a stroke.
He highlighted to the students the HSC professionals that supported him throughout and the impact his surgeries has had on him physically, cognitively, emotionally and socially. Dalbir also stated the advantages and disadvantages of how multi-disciplinary teams worked collaboratively to give him person-centred care and meet his needs.
Dalbir’s presentation was very useful as students prepare for their Unit 2 ‘Working in Health & Social Care’ exam in January 2021.
