Solutions for the planet update
Well done to the 3 teams from Heath Park who were invited to the West Midlands final of the Solutions for the Planet competition which was held at Wolverhampton University this week.
The students pitched their big ideas to help the planet in front of a panel of judges, other teachers and many students from across the county. The teams were 3 of the 12 finalists who have been selected from hundreds of students to from across the West Midlands. All teams -R-tech, Smart Sweep and Fast ‘n’ Fashion – performed very well, with the latter gaining a place in the national final which will be held at the Houses of Parliament in Westminster in late June.
Well done teams and to all of the year 7s who have taken part this year!
