Students Get A Taste Of Health & Social Care Sector
Health & Social Care students were privileged enough to attend the NHS Expo 2018 at Manchester Central on Thursday 6th September 2018.
This is a national event attended by many professionals and politicians within the sector. High profile key speakers such as Matt Hancock MP, Secretary of State for Health and Social Care and Professor Jane Cummings, Chief Nursing Officer for England and Executive Director at NHS England engaged with audiences on expert panels discussing various current NHS issues.
Students navigated their way around main zones at Expo 2018, which included mental health, diabetes & obesity, improving care, health tech, integrated care, NHS England & NHS Improvement and NHS70 Theatre. The students thoroughly enjoyed the opportunity to mingle with professionals from the Health & Social Care sector.
