Year 9 Excellence Academy: Learning Leaders Inspire Future Success
Our Year 9 Excellence Academy students had the fantastic opportunity to hear from our Learning Leaders of the core subjects this week, as they shared their best revision strategies to support students on their journey towards outstanding GCSE outcomes.
During the session, leaders introduced a range of powerful revision tools including Maths Genie, MathsWatch, Corbett Maths, Physics & Maths Tutor, Cognito, and more. Students were also guided through practical skills such as creating effective revision timetables, using active recall, and balancing study with wellbeing.
Time was set aside for students to ask their own questions, and the engagement in the room was inspiring. Year 9 approached the event with maturity, taking detailed notes, showing real curiosity, and demonstrating a clear passion for achieving success in their future exams.
We are incredibly proud of their commitment and drive. With the right tools, strategies, and mindsets, they are already setting themselves firmly on the path towards GCSE excellence.
