Year 9 Excellence Academy session: Opinions of the wider world
Our year 9s took part in a political debate session today arguing either for or against the rights we have to strike. This topical workshop involved evaluating sources of evidence and learning how to structure an argument for a debate. It was a very heated session with every member making well-balanced and reasoned cases for their group. It was also very tight but the teams arguing for the right to strike won by the tiniest margin. Well done to all involved! I think we have some potential politicians amongst us!
