How to become a Heath Park Prefect

Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for a Prefect position, students must:

  • Demonstrate exemplary behavior and promote our Heath Park Values (Ready, Responsible and Respectful) and Traits (Self-disciplined, Understanding, Resilient, Cooperative, Prepared and Reflective).
  • Show active participation in school activities and events.
  • Obtain recommendations from teachers and peers.

Selection Process

The selection process will include:

  1. Nomination: Students may self-nominate or be nominated by peers or teachers.
  2. Application: Submission of a formal application, including a statement of interest and leadership goals to Mr Golding at the start of the academic year.
  3. Appointment: Final selection by the teachers, Year Leads and Senior Leadership Team.
