Kitchen Assistant

£8.82 per hour

Heath Park are looking to appoint a Kitchen Assistant to join a newly formed team. This position is part time, working Monday to Friday from 10am – 2pm.

Job Summary 

  • Assist with the day to day running of the kitchen 
  • Help prepare and present a freshly cooked lunchtime meal, including a dessert for the children in our care. 
  • Adhere strictly to Food Hygiene Regulations and other safety procedures at all times. 
  • Ensure that food is served promptly as directed by the Kitchen Manager. 
  • Prepare adequate portion sizes as directed by the Kitchen Manager. 
  • Never allow children into the kitchen. 
  • Daily clearing up and cleaning of the kitchen 
  • Help with any other duties at the request of the Kitchen Manager

You must have previous experience in this type of position, the ideal candidate should have worked in a similar environment working with various dietary requirements e.g. (Nursery/School/Retirement home etc).

Apprentice School Administrator

We are looking for a dynamic and inspiring Apprentice to join our highly successful team at Heath Park School.

The successful candidate will be well organised, have good communication skills and work well as a team and individually motivated.

Duties will include:

* Administrative support to a Learning Leader

* Liaising with staff and students

* Preparation of reports

* Photocopying, filing, emailing, post duties

* Updating spreadsheets

* Answering the telephone and taking queries

Candidates should have a minimum of 5 GCSEs including Math and English at Grade 9-5 or equivalent.  Applicants will be required to attend College one day per week.
