CLPT are seeking to recruit a dynamic and inspiring teacher of Mathematics. We are unrelenting in our determination to provide the highest quality learning experiences for our students and so this is an exciting opportunity if you are an ambitious and driven professional.

We are looking for an enthusiastic Mathematics teacher with a record of outstanding practice, either in post or in training. Candidates should have knowledge of course specifications, together with a capacity to excite students with a range of innovative teaching and learning strategies to challenge and develop creative thinking.  The ideal candidate will be focused on high quality effective teaching in Mathematics at Key Stage 3 and 4 and have a passion for working with young people.  There may also be opportunities to teach KS5. The successful candidate will be committed to finding inclusive approaches to ensure that all our students achieve outstanding outcomes in Mathematics.

Learning Support Assistant

Salary: (37 hours per week) – £16213 – £16868
Term Time Only

Heath Park are seeking to appoint a compassionate, enthusiastic and committed Learning Support Assistant who has the experience and expertise to enhance the learning of different groups of pupils and support some of our most vulnerable learners to access all areas of the curriculum and enrichment despite the challenges they face.  The successful candidate will need to be:

  • a self-motivated individual and dedicated to supporting both groups and individual students
  • able to effectively work as part of a team, forming positive relationships with pupils, colleagues and parents alike
  • have high expectations of themselves and others
  • committed work in a school that is committed to continuous school improvement and provides outstanding quality teaching and learning

Applicants must have:

  • 5 GCSEs grade 9-4 (A* – C), English and Maths are essential
  • Excellent communication skills and an ability to work effectively in a team
  • Good time management skills, be well organised and competent

In addition but not essential:

  • Past experience of working in a school environment would be an asset but is not a pre-requisite
  • Some experience of working with children with Social, Emotional and Mental Health Needs or Autism Spectrum Disorder would be ideal but not essential

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Working with individual pupils, groups or whole classes
  • Working collaboratively with colleagues to communicate key information, plan, deliver and support pupil provision
  • Liaising with parents/carers and external agencies

Heath Park School offer exciting opportunities for graduates with further training and possible access to the initial teacher training programme, candidates will ideally hold a good Honors Degree, which is desirable but not essential
