Vacancies

Head of School (Wolverhampton)

Required to start September 2018/January 2019

Salary: ISR 20-24 / Negotiable for suitable candidate

Development and possible leadership opportunities available

CLPT is a highly, successful medium sized multi academy trust with schools in Wolverhampton and Rotherham. Our success to date has led to us being asked, by the RSC West Midlands, to sponsor other schools in our present location and to establish a presence in other areas in the region. Both are developments with which trustees agree and we need to be well placed to respond to these requests with leadership capacity already in place. In order to maintain this position, we are looking to increase our secondary senior leadership capacity, by recruiting experienced and successful Deputy Headteachers, who are wanting to progress their career by undertaking a Head of School role. We would also welcome applications from any present Headteacher, who wanted to progress their career within a MAT and the opportunities that can provide.

Our track record in school improvement is based on the creation of two and three academy School Improvement Partnerships led by outstanding Executive Headteachers, with each partnership school having their own Head of School. We aim to grow our own future senior leaders to facilitate seamless succession planning. Consequently, all successful candidates, could have the opportunity to move to Executive Headship within the trust at some point in the future.

We are looking for a Head of School who:
• is a highly effective, innovative and successful leader with drive, ambition and the skills to inspire the very highest expectations for all
• has strong interpersonal skills, is approachable and a good listener
• is committed to the success and development of both students and staff • is committed to working collaboratively across the Trust.

In return we can offer:
• a friendly, caring and supportive employer
• an exciting opportunity to be part of the growth and development of the Trust
• an employer with a passion for education; encouraging staff and students alike to ‘take risks’, to develop new ideas and to innovate.

If you wish to discuss this position then please contact Mr Selkirk (CEO), douglas.selkirk@clpt.co.uk , 01902 556360.
