At secondary school you experience a range of subjects, some of which will be completely new to you. We know that students come from primary school with a range of experiences and all we expect is that students show effort in all areas of the curriculum and a willingness to learn from the very start!

Homework

We know that homework is one of the biggest changes from Year 6 to Year 7, and something that students often think about ahead of starting secondary school.

At Heath Park School, we understand that academic success is closely tied to the development of personal responsibility, resilience, and strong character. We empower students to take ownership of their learning and preparing them for future success.

We follow a programme which your teachers will speak with you about when you start in September.

Homework Club – students can attend for support with their homework or for a quiet pace to complete homework on Wednesday’s afterschool (3pm) in room 107.
