Year 7 PGL

We have organized a trip to PGL, dedicated to Year 7’s starting with us in September. This is an excellent opportunity for your child to get to know staff and students alike and to experience some exciting activities. Please return the forms as soon as possible to secure your place on the trip.

Extra Curricular Clubs

Heath Park has a wide range of before school, lunchtime and afterschool clubs that staff lead. We recognize the importance of developing students skills and knowledge outside of the classroom, and encourage all students to take part in a club. This not only helps them to meet new people and have new experiences, it also develops their character – something that we are passionate about at Heath Park.

In addition, there are trips available in many subject areas to enhance learning in the classroom and give students opportunities to explore subjects in exciting ways. Here is an example of last year’s extra curricular timetable – this will be adapted for when you start in September, but you can see there are so many new and exciting clubs you can experience at Heath Park

Geography

Geography club have been researching into the origin and trade of chocolate around the world and in the UK. As part of our research, we took a visit to Magna Chocolate factory in Telford.
