Health & Social Care Students Hospital Session
On Monday 25th November, Health and Social Care students were paid a visit from Tara, a sister at West Park Hospital in Wolverhampton.
Tara came to speak to year 13 Health and Social Care students about a variety of topics linking to unit 2. This is an exam unit for year 13. Tara discussed a variety of information relating to roles and responsibilities of professionals working in health and social, policies, legislation, inspections, daily routines, dementia, the elderly and common difficulties faced.
Students found the sessions exceptionally useful from a revision point of view and also as an opportunity to ask a variety of questions about career pathways. We are very grateful to Tara for providing such a unique opportunity for our students.
