Sports Day 2024

As part of our end of year celebrations at Heath Park, we are holding our Sports Day on Friday 12th July at Aldersley Stadium. This is an exciting and very enjoyable whole school event, which all students and staff are expected to attend; therefore, there will no facility for any students to remain on the school site during the day.

We would be grateful if you would take note of the following arrangements.

Students will be transported to and from Aldersley Stadium by coach or minibus.
All KS3 and KS4 students must attend school in Heath Park PE kit.
Students should avoid bringing personal items such as phones or earphones or wear any kind of jewellery. There will be no facility to collect personal items and we cannot take any responsibility for loss or damage to these items.
Students should bring a packed lunch and a good supply of water-based drinks. Lunch will only be provided for students who are registered for a free school meal.
Year 7 and 8 students should arrive in school for 8:45am, Year 9 and 10 students should arrive in school at 9:30am. Students are to report to their form tutor for registration.
Y7 and 8 students should arrive back at school at approximately 2.15pm and Year 9 and 10 approximately 2:45pm and will be dismissed from school at that time.

Please be aware of the weather report for 12th July and ensure that students are dressed appropriately and consider bringing sunscreen, hats, and sufficient supplies of water.

Should you have any concerns regarding the arrangements for Sports Day, please do not hesitate to contact your child’s form tutor. Unfortunately, due to the numbers involved, it is not possible for parents to attend this event, but within a few days after the event a full picture gallery will be available on the school website.
