Reading Together Day
Reading Together Day 16th July – a fantastic opportunity for children of all ages, parents, teachers and librarians.
On 16 July, The Reading Agency are asking the nation to celebrate the proven power of reading and the benefits of reading together. 18 organisations across the publishing and literacy, culture and education sectors have collaborated to deliver a programme of activities to encourage everyone to read together, aiming to reach as many families and young people as possible.
As well as all the activities highlighted in the schedule, each organisation will be hosting additional activity through their own channels throughout the day so make sure you check them all out. Keep an eye on our friends at the British Library who will be sharing their favourite things to read together – check out @BL_Learning on Twitter throughout the day.
We would love you to be a part of this celebration of reading; share your favourite books to read together, enjoy the schedule of activities from each of the organisations involved so tag and follow us on Twitter @HeathParkReads and remember to use #ReadingTogether on your posts!
