Saint-Omer Trip – Day Two Highlights
Day two of our adventure in Saint-Omer was packed with hands-on learning, seaside exploration, and sweet treats—an unforgettable day for all!
A Morning at the Boulangerie
We began the day with a visit to a traditional French boulangerie. Students learned how bread is made from scratch, watching the process unfold with fascination. The experience was made even better by a warm, flaky pain au chocolat—fresh from the oven and absolutely delicious!
Town Trail in Le Touquet
Next, we travelled to the beautiful coastal town of Le Touquet. Students took part in a lively town trail, racing to solve clues and complete the challenge. The competition was fierce, but the real reward was exploring the town’s stunning architecture and charming streets.
Chocolate Factory Tour
The highlight of the day was undoubtedly our visit to the chocolate factory. Students watched the chocolate-making process and sampled a variety of treats. From silky ganache to crunchy praline, the tasting session was a hit—and a sweet memory that will last long after the trip ends.
Crepe-Making Fun
After dinner, the students got creative in the kitchen with a crepe-making session. With toppings ranging from fruit to chocolate spread, everyone had fun flipping and filling their own delicious desserts.
It was a busy, exciting day full of new experiences and tasty discoveries. Stay tuned for more updates as the trip continues!
