Students Impress In Premier League Enterprise Challenge
There were plenty schools across the city that were involved in the Premier League Enterprise challenge. Each school was tasked with finding creative ways to attract young people between the ages of 18-23 to attend football matches.
Schools embarked on a six-week school workshop to with members of Wolverhampton Wanders Foundation to get the ideas ready. In the preliminary rounds schools pitch their well-crafted ideas to a panel of Business and Wolves professionals. The winning team, Heath Park – Golden Wolves, were selected to represent Wolverhampton Wanders at the regional finals early next year. Their idea will also be used by the football club next season in order to attract a younger audience to football games.
During the next stage of the competition they will be competing against other Premier League clubs. If successful in the regionals, Heath Park will go on to represent Wolverhampton Wanders at Wembley Stadium in the National Finals competing against other elite Premier League clubs.
Students involved were:
1st – Golden Wolves (Abdi, Joelle, Jamahl, Lejla, Louii)
2nd – Re-Ignite (Weam, Elijah, Nadeem, Alex.M, Ema)
A massive well done to all students that competed and best of luck to Golden Wolves in the Regional Finals in January.
