Students Inspired by Careers in Advanced Manufacturing at JLR
A group of Year 8 and Year 9 students recently had the exciting opportunity to visit Jaguar Land Rover‘s Engine Manufacturing Centre in Wolverhampton as part of National Manufacturing Day.
Students toured the facility, met industry professionals and gained an insight into careers in engineering, technology and advanced manufacturing. They explored the skills employers value and learned about the wide range of opportunities available within the automotive sector.
We were also delighted to be joined by Sureena Brackenridge MP, who spent time speaking with students during the visit. She complimented them on their enthusiasm, maturity and the thoughtful questions they asked throughout the day.
The experience helped students connect their learning in school with real-world careers and raised aspirations for future education and employment pathways.
