Super League Basketball Finals
Students from Heath Park PE enjoyed an unforgettable experience at the 2026 Super League Basketball Finals, in what proved to be an inspiring and action-packed trip. The standard of play on display was exceptional, with elite athletes showcasing outstanding skill, athleticism and teamwork throughout the game. Students were able to see first-hand the intensity, precision and professionalism required to perform at the highest level, bringing to life many of the skills and tactics they learn about in their own PE lessons. A real highlight of the day was the opportunity for students to meet some of the players after the game. Many were able to speak with elite athletes, take photos and collect autographs, an experience that will undoubtedly stay with them for years to come. Seeing their sporting role models up close was both inspiring and motivating. The trip was a tremendous success, providing students with not only an enjoyable day out, but also a valuable insight into elite sport. It was a brilliant opportunity to inspire future athletes and create lasting memories for everyone involved.
