Year 12 H+S AmbassadorsBaby Bank Collection
Three dedicated Year 12 Health and Social Ambassadors/ Prefects have shown inspiring initiative by organising a successful baby bank collection in support of a local charity. Christiana Izogie, Rhianne Tahir and Olivia Kwabena–Kyeremeh Yeboaah took it upon themselves to coordinate a school-wide drive, gathering essential baby items such as nappies, food, toys, clothing, and toiletries for families in need.
Motivated by a desire to support struggling parents in the local community, the group planned and promoted the collection over several weeks. They created posters, presented in assemblies, and set up donation drop-off points around the school to encourage as many contributions as possible.
Their efforts resulted in an impressive number of donations, which will be delivered to The Women and Families Resource Centre Baby Bank, a local organisation that supports families with young children who are facing financial hardship.
This initiative is a fantastic example of the student leadership team making a tangible impact. A big well done to the organisers for their compassion, leadership, and commitment to supporting others.
