Year 12 Sports Students Attend Sport Discovery Day at the University of Wolverhampton
Year 12 Sports students recently had the exciting opportunity to attend a Sport Discovery Day at the University of Wolverhampton. The visit provided students with valuable insight into university life, as well as the wide range of courses and career pathways available within the sports industry.
Throughout the day, students took part in a series of engaging and practical workshops, including sessions focused on sport and exercise science. These activities allowed them to experience the type of learning and facilities available at university level, while developing their understanding of key concepts within the subject.
In addition to the academic workshops, students were able to explore the university environment, gaining a real feel for campus life. The experience offered a fantastic opportunity to ask questions, interact with university staff, and discover the opportunities that higher education can provide.
All students thoroughly enjoyed the day, describing it as both inspiring and informative. The visit has undoubtedly helped many of them to begin thinking more clearly about their future pathways in sport and beyond.
