Youth Commissioner Elections 2025
Our very own Treasure Okpiavbe (11RO) has been selected for the Youth Commissioner Elections.
“I would love to be a Youth Commissioner to be able to have bigger opportunities to help the youth of my generation. With these youth organisations, the image of laziness that is attached to the youths has started to wear off. I would love to be a trigger to positive change in the West Midlands. Youths are not only engaged through fun activities and sports, many are engaged by educational opportunities and career opportunities just like this programme. If we continue to work hard, we will have a big percentage of the passionate youths showing interest to be a part of youth organisations. Additionally, for the youths, to know that their voices are being heard will encourage them to voice more opinions, which will only contribute to positive change in the West Midlands. I want to live knowing that I got to help youths know that they are important and valued. I want to live knowing that youths are living better and impactful lives because I once came up with an idea that inspired them. I want to live in a better environment and community.”
Voting opens Mon 27th Oct – Thurs 6th Nov (more info to follow)
