Heath Park Students Help Shape National Post-16 PSHE Curriculum
We are incredibly proud of our Year 12 students, who recently took part in a Student Voice session to help shape the future of Post-16 PSHE education across the country.
Working alongside Life Lessons, the organisation that provides our PSHE resources, students were invited to share their views, experiences and ideas on what makes an effective and engaging curriculum for young people. Their contributions were thoughtful, insightful and full of creativity.
Following the session, Kathryn from Life Lessons praised our students for their enthusiasm, maturity and willingness to participate, commenting on how impressed she was by both the quality of their ideas and their eagerness to get involved.
The feedback provided by our students will now play a direct role in the development of the new Life Lessons Post-16 PSHE curriculum, which will be delivered in more than 600 schools across the country. This is a fantastic opportunity for our students to have a genuine impact on the education of thousands of young people nationwide.
We are delighted that Heath Park students have been chosen to help influence such an important project and would like to thank everyone who took part. Their contribution reflects the confidence, leadership and thoughtful citizenship that we are proud to see in our Sixth Form community.
Well done to all involved!
